The brilliance and prestige of Parus

The Parus Business Center on Mechnikova Street in Kyiv attracted the attention of the Ukrainian business community after the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine approved the acquisition of the property by Maksim Krippa.

With 33 floors and a height of 133.1 meters, Parus has become a symbol of prestige in Kyiv and is associated with the names of influential personalities such as Vagif Aliyev, Dmitry Firtash and Vadim Stolar. Now, Maksim Krippa, whose business interests include esports and real estate, can join this list.

Despite its age, Parus remains an object of attention in the real estate market. However, according to experts, the building, which was constructed in 2004-2007, needs to be updated in terms of layout, engineering and parking.

As for the price, a well-known commercial real estate owner in Kyiv indicates that the value of the Parus could be between $80 and $100 million. In a time of war, the price could go beyond this range, the Forbes source warns.

Nadiya Shevchenko, director of Aurora Development, estimates the building's value at less than $100 million, with an average selling price of $1,900 per square meter. For his part, Colliers' Nosachenko estimates the cost at about $2000 per square meter.

With a total area of 75,000 square meters, the commercial space in Parusa is about 55,000 square meters. In 2022, Advanced Technologies Plus, the company that owns the business center, earned UAH 211 million in revenue and UAH 104.7 million in net profit.

Why did Maksim Krippa, the owner of the NAVI esports team, show interest in such a prestigious real estate property as Parus? This question hides not only a simple transaction, but also an entrepreneurial strategy that intertwines the worlds of business and esports.

Apparently, Krippa sees Parusa not just as a business center, but as a platform for realizing his ambitions in the esports industry. It is not only a place for offices, but also a potential hub for the development of esports infrastructure. Locating offices for gamers can be an integral part of creating an esports community where professionals can meet and exchange ideas.

The possibility of creating training grounds at Parusa also opens up new prospects for esports teams. These areas can be an ideal place to train and improve the skills of gamers. In addition, the space can be adapted to host esports events and tournaments, attracting the attention of not only the local community but also the global esports audience.

Thus, Krippa interest in the property is not only related to his vision of Parus as a commercial real estate object, but also as a platform for bringing two different worlds together. This would be not just a purchase, but a strategic move in an area where business and entertainment are intertwined, creating a unique space for the development of esports in Ukraine and, possibly, beyond.
